This is the remarkable story of how a girl who loved cats captured the heart of a young man who came in from the rain. This is their story of a shared love for travel and history, for food and for their sweet and wily cats Munchie and Tuffy. No cats were harmed during the writing of this book, although the humans have been left with minor physical scars from this very real trip with two very real cats.

My cat’s name is Catarina . If she could drive, the first place she would take us is Baltimore, MD to visit her namesake’s final resting place for Baltimore’s Catarina was Edgar Allen Poe’s cherished pet & inspiration for his horror classic “The Black Cat” & we could all eat soft shell crabs.
My cats name is Mr Kitty Von Kitty Clause. If he could drive, the first place he would take us is Pike Place Fish Market in Seattle, WA because FISH, (uhm, sorry, Kitty took over the keyboard for a sec) they throw fish and he’s a good catcher.
My cats name is Roo Roo and if she could drive, the first place she would take us is straight to Canada. She wants to go there to see her friends (whom she has never met purrsonally) and give them kitty kisses, warm purrs, and loud meows. Roo Roo is keeping her paws crossed that she wins!
My cats names are Boots & Midnight. If they could drive, the first place they would take us to would be the Mark Twain Caves in Hannibal, MO, because its a nice big cave to go exploring in (and maybe one of them would get lost … that is their opinion of the otherb not mine) and then we could go fishing on the bank of the Mississippi River and have some BBQ fishies!
My cats name is Alice Roosevelt. If Alice could drive the first place she would drive is to the store to stock up on lots of her favorite things to eat. Although she would probably drive way to fast and be stopped by a police man who had a dog helper which Alice would get into a fight with and we’d never make it to the store. We’d be on our way to jail instead of the store. I’d have to spend the money I had to bail her out.
My cat’s name is Ronaldo. If he could drive, the first place he would take us is Tarentum, PA because he would love to test the Epic Cat Fort. His motto is “Cat Fort Everyday”
