My cat’s name was Little Bit. My husband went down to the Barn /Garage one night and he could hear this tiny meow coming from somewhere, so he went outside to investigate and found this very tiny all black kitten hiding behind some pieces of lumber. So he picked him up and brought him up to me in the house, First we had to clean the cob webs off of him. Then I tried to find something to feed him, and I got lucky as I had some cat food in the pantry, so I gave him some and fixed a litter box for him and put i in my computer room which there was nothing in there that he could get into. We found out when we took him to the vet for a check up that he was a Man-Coon kitten and would grow to be a large cat. And that he did. But he would wait all day for my husband to come home so he could sleep on his lap.

Unfortunately, at the time we first blinked at each other. I was going through the end stages of life with my firstborn kittyson, Freightliner. I couldnt take Tiger… sadly, he got adopted by another family and – can you believe this? they RETURNED him!?! When i found out, i adopted Tiger IMMEDIATELY! (Freighty had since passed and my heart was in pieces). I had another kittyson at home named Harley, so Tiger and Harley now became bro’s. Tiger put his kickstand firmly down and took OVER! You’d never know he was the runt because he just puts his kickstand UP like he’s going to ride a scooter and runs all over the house chasing Harley! And when he’s tired of scootin all over his apartment, kickstand DOWN and time to sleep or eat or hug mama.

The Three-Legged Kitten I Almost Named Aretha
I work in rescue and this tiny grey and white kitten was brought in after the original owner left the umbilical cord wrapped around her leg until it fell off, slightly above the ankle. Since I’d had experience with mobility-challenged cats, I was their first call and I relished helping this little ball of fluff. As I drove her home in her carrier, however, the “pipes” on this tiny kitten actually frightened me (and remember, I work in rescue). I pulled over, thinking she was hurting. Nope. She just REALLY wanted out of the carrier and the car.
As an admitted “foster failure,” I adopted the little ball of fluff and ended up naming her Cassidy (after Hopalong). She has seen me through a 30-yr divorce (he never bonded with her; she once scampered across his keyboard and the screen read “8u.” And she’s taught me that it’s okay to ask for what you want and you can do it LOUDLY!
She is in poor health. I will lose her in the next 3-6 months. But we are bonded by heart and I know she is just crossing a veil and she will still be with me.
Thank you for letting me share her story here!

The Rule of Sibs: If your sibling gets something you want, you (1) try to take it; (2) break it; or (3) say it’s no good.
My cat’s name is Queen Victoria and if Gwen ever wrote a short story about her it would probably be called “The Queen of Cats Steals Raspberry Yogurt Out From Under Mom’s Nose.”
We actually have 11 cats. I could tell U sum of the funniest stories about them. Each has a different personality. I have 3 different females that dont hang or play with anyone. I have a female Gracie and her brother Hercules that have always played together slept together but they turn 2 years old tomorrow. They dnt really play much anymore and never sleep together. Gracie loves to sleep with me but so does Hercules. Gracie gets so mad when Hercules jumps up on the bed with us she will growl like a dog. Hercules ignores her and sometimes starts picking with her and what makes her the maddest is he will lay a couple feet from her and just stare at her. When she starts growing he’ll stop then in a little he’ll start staring again. It’s so funny to watch. I feel like Gracie is saying mommy Hercules wont stop staring at me. They fight just like human sisters and brothers. They are all kin except 2 where came from shelters. I love them all so much. They are
my children. I wouldnt take any amount of money for any of them. We have spent thousands of dollars on them. They have been tested for all
kinds of stuff and have had all their shots. But my
very favorite is Ralph. Hid nickname is gangster. That’s because none of the other cats will mess with him. Most male cats wont fight a female. He doesnt care he’ll fight whichever makes him mad. He is blue gray with no markings. He looks like a blue Russian and he may have ancestors that were but he isnt. Hes kind of small. His liter all got sick before they were completely weaned. He was the only one who lived. We have gave him special attention and spoiled him the most. Hes very vocal and very loving towards my husband and myself. He has a skin allergy but we dont onow whst causes it. He will get sores and be scratching and crying it breaks my heart. The vet gets him steroid shots but it’s not good for him to have so many of them. That worries me cause I cant stand for anything to suffer neverless my baby. So when We found something on Chewy that is natural that helps it. The last kitten we got was about a year ago for our granddaughter that lives with us . He came from our county shelter. We named him Rocky. He is a very shy lovable kitten. He will be a year old in October. He was around 8 wks when we adopted him. We put food water and a bbn liter box in our bedroom so We could watch him because we didnt onow hoq tje ofther cats would treat him. They have all been together their whole lives. Hercules was curious and George also. Rocky was so scared he would hide under the bed so they were like ok and they would leave him alone the others pd bo attention to him except Gracie she hated him. She would try to jump on him every chance she got. Ralph started slowly coming to visit him. Day by day they started playing and Rocky started coming out of the bedroom. If Gracie saw him she would jump on him he started hollering because he realized that would cause us to come to his rescue him and chase Gracie away. Well it also caused Ralph to come. He would jump on Gracie and most times Ralph would jump on her the whole day everytime he would see her. She would be running from Ralph he would bite her tail. Shes a beautiful cat. Shes white with silky long fur and a long bushy tail. Hercules is white also but short haired. My daughter comes up about once a month and usually stays a week. I moved 4 hrs away from my family so that’s why she visits like that. She has gotten a siamese kitten of course she’ll be bringing her when she comes as she couldnt leave her new baby alone that long. Ralph has started playing with this kitten(Havoc) just bbn loke Rocky. He is so gentle with her and loves her. Hes tough when he needs to be but he has a large heart of gold. Alot of ppl think animals dnt think or they dnt think like humans. I’m disabled and alone alot while my husband is at work. I sit and watch them. I wat CV h them conspire amongst each other how they pick on each other. K knowing they teasing the other one. We have 11 cats and each one has a totally different personality. They amaze me how smart they are. I’d rather be bbn with them than hardly any human I know. I think God for blessing me with my lil friends. They keep me company and CNN help me when I’m having a bad day. I suffer with a chronic pain disease.
