Summary
We all love our cats and certainly know how compellingly cute they can be around dinner time when they want to have what we are eating. The infographic below is from Vet-Medic and they’ve done an excellent job comparing both foods that are safe to feed kitty as well as those that are toxic.
They mention liver which is fine as an occasional treat, but fed too often can result in toxicity of vitamin A. Similarly, cooked bones are on the list (see below) due to the danger of choking and splinters.
Some of these I knew about, thank you for sharing. But what I have been looking for are poisonous indoor plants. I don’t have plants in the house and would love to have some, however I don’t know which ones are safe for my kitty. If you can tell me I would be greatful. Thank you.
Lilies are poisonous for cats…My daughter nearly lost her cat after he feasted on some of these dangerous flowers.
You forgot an important one….cinnamon!
